The stability of riverbanks in cold regions is affected by the freeze-thaw action. process causes changes moisture content, friction angle, and cohesiveness bank material. Together with effect, seepage pressure influenced changing water levels, slope are key factors affecting stability. A limit equilibrium model considering infiltration effect developed applied to Shisifenzi section Inner Mongolia reach Yellow River. Laboratory tests field samples contents 15%, 18%, 21%, saturated showed that action reduced degree saturation 34.37 %, 30.71%, 32.48%, 46.23%, respectively, accompanied reductions internal angles 1.78%, 2.74%, 6.33%, 5.32%. These resulted a 24.35% 29.13% reduction safety factor seasonal variations levels data study site increases gradually through melting period, dry wet flooding low flow period. stage river but decreases groundwater level.
